I ordered this as a gift for my mom for Christmas. We went to plug it in after she unwrapped it, and it wouldn't even turn on. I had a heck of a time exchanging it (when I bought it a year ago, it was through a sub-vendor on amazon, not amazon themselves- so I had to follow all of THEIR return policies. It was confusing because we had to go through their website and it was asking for an order number, but wouldn't take the Amazon order number).
We got a new one which refused to work with my mom's iPod (an older generation classic AND it refused to take her iPhone, too) and then died a week or two later. My mom didn't tell me, so we didn't have a chance to exchange it again. But to go through TWO of these in the span of just a few weeks? I was HORRIBLY disappointed in the quality and service of this product.

I cannot comment much on this product as it arrived D.O.A. Item did not have any obvious damage - it simply did not work at all. Obviously returned item, but instead of replacing with the same, I went with the much more expensive JBL On Stage Micro Portable Speaker Dock for iPod (Black). The JBL has performed flawlessly. Save $$ in the long run by getting the JBL first. I also see that the JBL has dropped in price almost $13 since my purchase (oh well, expensive but worth it).

speakers have no power to them, and the bass muffles out most of the midrange sounds so in order to really hear some sort of clarity, it must be played on low. The equalizer setting are very easy to use but its no use playing around with them because all settings doesn't do much but play the weak speakers in different settings, which all sound kinda wack... so we use it in the bathroom while showering. worth getting if for a child

Like it. For the price it cannot be beat. Dock and remote work good. You can select playlist, songs, artists with the remote and it shows on the Ipod. Like it. Will use for years to come.
