I've given a 5 star to this product because is the best on the market (from my point of view) even when it has one problem, it doesn't have a protector for the wheel.



Inspite of this, it's a great product, it'll protect you iPod from scratches and hits. I'm using it with my 160Gb 7th generation ipod.

I believe this product will solve the problem I have requiring replacement of my IPOD Classic. I think I have bought 3. I have a vision problem, and I am naturally clumsey. I have dropped previous IPODs. Bless their hearts they just can't take it. This seems to have enough UMPH to handle it. It looks like a tire and doesn't easily slip in te pocket but if it saves my IPOD I will be grateful. So far so good.

I'm very glad I went with the Speck Armorskin Case. It grips well so I don't have to worry about my ipod tumbling around my car, it fits perfectly with my 120GB, I'm more at ease about the safety of my ipod because it feels think and well made, and the screen is high enough quality so that I can see through it easily. The only problems are that the opening by the bottom port is not large enough for my itrip to work and I think that the screen is getting scratched a little. However, the latter issue is expected and is hardly an issue at all.



Overall, I am VERY satisfied with this product and at this price it's hard to beat!

I got a new iPod a while back and since I'm horribly clumsy I started purchasing covers for anything "portable" that I own. I bought this about 3 or 4 months ago and it is GREAT. I drop the poor iPod constantly (not recommended) and it seems to just bounce and land, waiting for me to snatch it back up. I haven't managed to scratch the screen cover yet, as previous reviews are describing.



It is a bit bulky, but the charging cable & head phone jack are still perfectly accessible for me. I don't use the docks, so I can't really make a judgment on that.

This is a solid case that definitely protects my iPod. I have a 7G iPod classic and didn't like the spacer in the back (needed for compatibility with the 5G iPod) because it makes the whole thing really thick. However, I really like the plastic in the front, the hole with the molded edge for the wheel makes the touch wheel really easy to use. Now I unfortunately cannot use this case because I am using a Belkin cup-holder dock in the car, which is not adjustable and cannot accommodate this case. I find it really hard to use the iPod touch wheel without this ArmorSkin case.

I have had my iPod Nano for about two years now and i love it. The picture quality is amazing and the sound is terrific. The battery life is great i get about 34 hours out of it even with the brightness on high and the backlight on for 15 seconds. I like the shake and shuffle mode on the iPod and the the games on it and the movies look stunning on this little screen also. The smallness of the player is amazing too. it fits in my pocket. Forget what you have read in the other reviews, i have had no problems with this player it is by far the best player on the market and i have had every player out there and this is the best. Yes it is a little pricey but its way worth it. I would buy from Apple over and over again. I would never buy from any other company, but Apple. I didn't buy this from Amazon i bought it from Apple's website as a refurbish section, i have the 16GB Nano Black and i only paid $135 with free shipping. The iPod is brand new, check it out. You will not regret buying this. Some people give it a bad review because they don't know how to take care of their things. My dad has one, my brother has one, and of course i have one... So dont listen to anyone else this iPod is the best. I have no Cons, i have had no problems with it....

If you have a 160gb classic, this is a no brainer! The headphone and usb connector areas are completely accessible as well as the hold button. There is nothing covering the wheel, so there is no restriction of movement. The screen cover fits snug. I put a screen protector over it just to keep it clear. The swivel clip disconnects from the case and it can be removed completely if you do not like it. It has a good grip to it with all of the grooves and rubber material. I have several other cases, this is the best yet. Speck really came through with this one and at the price that I paid for it, it is tops!

After reading the many positive reviews, I purchased the Speck Toughskin for my 160 Classic. It's stylish (each of my 3 brothers ordered one after seeing mine) and more importantly to me it does exactly what it says: saves your Ipod.



I ordered this a day after receiving my new 160-Ipod. Two days after receiving it, I had exited my car at the supermarket, got distracted and my Ipod slips out of my hand and smack!! hits concrete. I'm staring down at it with the utter certainty it's died a sudden death.



Needless to say, it didn't and has been in perfect working order. So for $18 or so (including shipping)my Ipod was protected. Well worth the money.

I've wrapped three iPods with the ToughSkin, the first one in 2005. They are good cases which are quite durable, I've never had the case break or tear and they are quite shock resistant. In my opinion the rubber handles a fall better than a metal or plastic case would. I've dropped my iPods more times than I can count, but they always work afterwords.



I gave my brother an iPod with the Speck case, and it's endured through two separate tours to Iraq & Afghanistan and back without any damage. They're hard to beat, especially for the price.



At the risk of sounding like a plant, I'd just like to add that Speck is a great company to deal with. I had one of the little plastic screen protectors fall out and they sent me two promptly and without charge.
