I was skeptical after reading the reviews for this item but I figured at $30 if it didn't work I wouldn't be out a ton of money. I recently used it for the first time. I traveled across the state and didn't have to change the station once! The Ipod classic fits snuggly in the holder with it's skin on or without(I tried it both ways). It doesn't move or bounce and is very easy to use. I am VERY happy with my purchase and pleasantly surprised!

This is an excellent FM transmitter to play iPods in the car. There was no setup involved, other than finding an unused FM station to use, and the unit does that for you. We are using the first unused FM station that the unit automatically found and the sound is crystal clear without any static at all, unlike the previous two brands that we tried. The adjustable clamps on the unit fit all four of our different iPod sizes (a 2nd gen, 3rd gen, and 5th gen Nano and an old classic iPod) perfectly and holds each one in place tightly. The flexible arm is a very useful feature, as it allows you to see and work the controls on the iPod comfortably, without having to dig around near the cigarette lighter/power plug and without having to constantly hold the iPod, like the other two brands we tried. The unit is easy to remove and switch between cars. This is an excellent product and I would recommend to others without hesitation.

I bought the Accessory Genie as a gift for my husband at Xmas. We had a problem with it and wrote the company to see if they could replace a broken part. No problems! Gave me a shipping label for the old one and I had the new one in a week. Remember this was at Xmas. My husband says it works great. Customer service and a great product, you can't go wrong.

I purchaced this item for my girlfriend for Christmas. I was worried about the sound quality because I had an FM transmitter in the past and the sound quality varied depending on the area. So far, this product has a great sound quality, comparable to my adapter (the audio tape version). It is compact and you don't have wires all over your car. I wish the adhesive pads would stick better (you need them for the nano 4th gen); I super-glued my girlfriend's for extra stability, and it worked great. I am thinking of buying myself this same product for my ipod because I'm getting tired of detangling the wires from the tape adapter and the Ipod charger.
