After only 6 weeks, when it was pulled out of the car charger, it came apart. The end came off and the fuses fell out. Not made of good quality for $70.

I just recieved my order yesterday and immediately put it to use. My previous vehicle had a cassette deck which allowed me to use a cassette tape adapter to listen to my iPod. The sound coming from my car speakers was great! My new car doesn't have a cassette deck so my only option was a small battery-driven FM transmitter. The sound was horrible in comparison and dealing with extra wires and no holder or mount made it that much worse. This new Flexpod holder/FM transmitter is so much better. It was easy to set up. Easy to install. Easy to operate. It mounted in a spot that made it very easy to access from either the driver or passenger seat and, like I said, the sound is far better than I had expected from an FM transmitter. I did have some trouble getting it back out of the power socket but it did come out without any of the damage I have read in others' reviews. So far, I give it a thumbs up. Definite keeper.

I purchased this Flexpod and was excited to use it since I had read all the reviews on how great it was and the only problem I noticed was when plugging it into the cigarette lighter. I too had that issue and I now have to replace my cigarette lighter because of this product.
The first time I tried to pull it out it took A LOT of force to get it out. I also wish the flexible neck was more flexible. I have a 2000 Jetta and the cig lighter is in the front console, so when I shift - I hit the Flexpod. I figured it would have been easier to flex.
I had issues with it shutting itself off about every 30 minutes. After I unplugged the Flexpod and went to plug in my TomTom, my cigarette lighter no longer works. I tried putting the Flexpod back into the plug to see if it was my GPS but that didn't work either. I had never had any problems with my cigarette lighter, until now. The plastic piece that plugs into the lighter is also slighty damaged now, due to the tight fit.
The sound quality is good - better then the Monster FM transmitter I had. I do have feedback when I shift the car, something the Monster did not have. It was also about $50 cheaper then the other one, which is a huge plus.
Needless to say, I will be returning it to Accessory Genie.
*edit to add info* it didn't actually "break" my cigarette lighter by burning it or anything else - it blew a fuse. Not just once, either - I have replaced the fuse 6 times. Owning this car for a while and plugging everything from a cell phone charger to a TomTom to a corded FM transmitter - this product has been the ONLY thing to blow my fuse. I have emailed the company back and awaiting response.

I've had the product for a week now. Sound quality is good (freq of 107.1-107.3 work well for a commute on 280 in the bay area). Also like the feature of taking calls on iphone.
Fits well in honda accord however I think the quality of the flex neck can be improved

This works great! Hold really well. Doesn't fall over and the sound is great. Sometimes I do get high pitched noise though. Love the Blue tooth for the phone.
