Small simple device that allows you to play your shuffle in a number of ipod clock radios, etc. It was also a welcome present for other relatives with shuffles that had a similar iHome radio, etc at bedside or in the bathroom that were able to add the shuffle player to their daily routine.

This thing is amazing. I had a iPod shuffle that I wanted to use with a Sony clock radio that works with iPods. Couldn't find any that were compatible with the Shuffle. This adapter allowed me to use the Shuffle on my radio. Great product for us "old" folks who haven't upgraded to the new things yet.

I purchased this griffin dock adaptor to allow myself to use my SANSA MP3 player with my wall mounted iPort installed in my apartment. The unit doesn't come close to fitting into the dock. I don't know why is isn't simply shaped like the bottom of an ipod. I know it would be a little less efficient packaging of the internals to model an ipod but it would make it fit more docks.
Regardless the unit does what I wanted after I modified the case to allow me to fit it. Worth the few bucks!

This product really came in handy for me. I inherited an old bose sounddock from a friend, and wanted a way to use it with my creative zen player, because the sounddock has no aux input and only works with docking ipods. The Griffin Dock Adapter allows me to connect the zen's headphone socket, or any other device with such audio output, into the sounddock. I only needed an additional 1/8" audio adapter so the zen could reach the jack on the dock completely, which I got from radioshack for a few bucks. Great product.

Wife wanted some better portable speakers for her old iPod Shuffle, so I bought her the JBL On Stage Micro Portable Speaker Doc for Ipod. Knowing her shuffle wouldn't work, I knew the Griffin Dock Adapter for her Ipod Shuffle 2G would fit snug. Sure enough, works like charm. Great little adapter.
