Bought this for my son to have in his room. Works great! Perfect for a bedroom or an office.

Not that we were expecting BOSE sound for such a reasonably priced system, but the sound quality is a little disappointing. You can adjust the bass level, but other than that all you have is the volume. Therefore, it sounds a little cheaper than we would like. The look and ease of charging is fine. It makes me wonder if I would have gotten a significanlty better sound for another $25.

This Speaker was great. It charges the iPod while it plays. I especially like that it fades in so that you don't have to wake up to a blaring noise. I got the last one sold by Amazon, and the free shipping was horrible (8 days). On this product, it is worth it to pay for the shipping even if it is $5. Great quality speakers, the remote works from 8 ft. away. Not too hard to set the alarm and time, but not too easy either. All in all, great product, works with my 5th gen. nano, and has great speakers, just watch out for the shipping!

Wanted an ipod alarm clock without spending too much money. Very satisfied with the product for that purpose. If you are purchasing the product to use strictly as an external speaker, I find the sound quality slightly lacking.

Got the iLive a few weeks ago. It does have great sound for its size and there are 2 separate alarm times you can set to either beeping or iPod/iPhone. I do have a few quibs. First, the buttons feel very cheap and make a clicking sound when you press them. Reminds me of the clickers dog trainers use, only not as loud. Second, the process of adjusting the alarm settings is not very easy. The instruction pamphlet tells you how to set it, but doesn't tell you how to turn it off (who wrote this thing???). There is an "alarm off" button, but when you push it, it doesn't actually turn the alarm off, it just resets it to wake you up the next day. To turn it off, you have to hold down the "alarm off" button while pushing the "source" button and scroll through until the alarm icon disappears. My Sony egg clock/radio has more buttons, but is more user friendly. All in all, it does its job.
